The purpose of the Stretchy Brain Board is to support the visual learning of the concept of Growth Mindset. A growth mindset is about stretching the brain by encouraging and acknowledging how hard the student has worked during the process.

 

The process is where children shape their learning and our response to this area will determine how much children will want to learn and stretch their brains. Changing the narrative of our thinking process to a growth mindset stretches our brain and requires us to use positive self-talk, such as, "I'm learning how to do this"....."I'm not there yet"...."I'm almost there"... "I did it!"
