The CALM team is mobilizing an initiative to provide Early Years Curriculum and CALM Connection Facilitator trainings across the province in 2025. This project aims to enhance early childhood educators with knowledge, understanding, strategies and tools focusing on play-based learning, social-emotional development, and inclusive practice by equipping
Between January and June 2025, the team will cover more than 12,826 kilometers to visit communities throughout the province, utilizing various modes of transportation such as cars, ferries, and planes. This fun video gives you the visual of the communities to team is visiting.
In recent months, the CALM team has collaborated with various BCACDI organizations and CCRR's across the province, providing training in Parksville, Kelowna, Victoria, and Dawson Creek.
This week and in the coming months, the CALM team will be equally busy with training confirmations in Port Alberni & Ucluelet, Prince Rupert, Castlegar, and Vanderhoof.
