The Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) recently highlighted the CALM Curriculum© in their Data in Action series. This series showcases how research and community collaboration are being used to address key challenges in child development.


HELP’s feature on the CALM Curriculum© emphasizes how the curriculum is directly responding to the concerns raised by the Early Development Instrument (EDI) data, using those insights to create a meaningful, evidence-based intervention.


Through their Data in Action story, HELP demonstrates how the integration of local data, like the EDI vulnerability rates, can be translated into targeted programming that addresses real community needs.
